Might be a severe soil nitrogen deficiency. All the more so because in the second shot the newer leaves are greener.

which loosely translates into ... have a soil test done and find out.. so you can fix the situation ... or look for other answers ...

Thank you all. Yes I have done a soil test and need to apply lime to adjust the Ph.

Do that in increments as each change in pH point is a big jump for the soil community.

Embo - , there is a good chance certain areas didn't get enough of the Nitrogen (46-0-0). The slope the plants are on has bermuda and I had fertilized it last fall and it is a challenge to fertilize a slope.

And yes applied some Pennington Lime last season for the slope and did yesterday. Will do another application in the Fall and will fertilize the Holly lightly with some N.

46% nitrogen is a huge payload - more than a fraction of that being used by the shrubs seems doubtful.

Oh is it? good to know..I literally spoon fed it. In early summer, I will put some starter fertilizer.

The main issue I think has been too much of rains.

Sometimes a heavy berry set will cause plants to yellow. I would hit it with some Holly Tone later in Spring.
