We have a lovely new screen porch, it is 22 ft wide x 14 ft deep. The ceiling is 12 ft for most of it, then slants down on the sides to 10 ft. There are 4 recessed cans for general illumination, and then a center box for a Chandelier/outdoor lantern. We don't want to put a fan there. What size light would look good? Would 36" round be too large? Or should it be more linear, since the porch is rectangular? We don't have anything picked out yet, but our style is transitional leading towards traditional. + in the pic is where the box for the light is located, and - for the cans. Our furniture is just a sofa, loveseat and chair, all rattan painted dark blue/black. And a not-yet-purchased swing.
