There should be window wells there so you put stone/much around them, not backfill them. 2' wide planting area is enough for smaller plants... You have to see what is the plant's root zone is, that is the area where the plant is pulling water from, etc.

The landscape plantings are a transition that softens the hardness of the high vertical house walls. If using plantings for that purpose, you will be limited to mostly small sizes. If it's just pops of color or places for annuals, that can be accomplished by planters and pots as well. I don't follow if the tub is in a separate small gazebo, or if you are building a larger covered pergola attached to the house, but they may block any sun you need for these plantings.

A landscape designer may be able to help you better lay out your patio and plantings, and integrate the hot tub/gazebo better.

It might just be me, but I do not want to look out a main room of my house at a plastic hot tub cover. If it has to be close to the house, move it over to the right side of the elevated landing in front of the basement window.

I can't tell what it is you are doing with the window wells from this graphic. If it is making them rectangular instead of oval shape, yes you can do that.

2' wide flower beds are for all practical matters useless.

This should not be anything close to a final design of the patio.

You don’t provide dimensions of your patio, mention privacy needs or anything regarding the climate where you live.

I’m linking a video of our patio which includes a hot tub. There is only about 18” space provided around the tub. We live in snow climate and more space would be really good, like 3 feet. The adjacent gardens are approximately 24 feet. Patio is 24 x 26 plus 12 x 12 allowed for hot tub.

Our window wells have weight supporting plexiglass covers - lets light in and critters out.
