I called it Pink Star. In natural light it is more pink than lavender to my eyes.

No, it is a no name Ipomoea nil. It has genes for producing reverse tube flowers but those genes were not expressed in this generation.

That is so pretty. It almost looks like crinkly white paper. The leaf is so unusual, doesn't even look like a mg leaf. Very interesting! 😁

My Joseph, what a beautiful shade of pink that is! And shaped so nicely! You certainly do get a lot of joy out of your morninglories don't you! I only have a couple that really made it this year, it seems some of them had a blight. I'm not going to be growing as many garden flowers, but I will always be growing growing morning glories! It's such a pleasure to see them each morning isn't it? 🤗
