Master bathroom renovation

I searched the previous posts and found some similar questions but nothing recent. We are redoing our master bathroom and have a couple of dilemmas. Our plan is to take out the bathtub and put in a shower with double shower heads. The kids' bathroom down the hall has a tub. Is it worth it or advisable to extend the bathroom by just over 3 feet into the bedroom? This would reduce the length of the bedroom from about 17 feet to 14 feet. Is this advisable, or does it take too much from the bedroom space.

1. Our vanity space is 70 inches long. Should we go wall to wall, or would it be more stylish to do a 60 inch vanity with space on each side, free standing?

2. And double sinks or no double sinks? Are they still a resale valued feature?

3. The shower would be six feet long or could be increased to almost 9 feet, if we enlarge the bathroom. Or we could keep it at 6 feet and put some kind of storage at one end of it. Enlarging the bathroom would also allow us to enlarge the walk-in closet which is on the other side of the bathroom at the same end of the master bedroom.

(The cabinet outside and to the left of the bathroom door is freestanding and we are selling it.)

We will be tiling the bathroom and doing engineered hardwood throughout the rest of the bedroom floor level.

Please see attached photos and excuse the current decor. Most of this is original to the house when we purchased it. Any input is much appreciated.
