I ordered several samples from Build Direct because I liked the way the colors looked on their website. We went to more than a dozen flooring stores and all the big box stores. Could not really get away from the grey and/or green undertones in most of the colors. We also had numerous samples from SuperCore and Flooret. Would have preferred Flooret, except for the extra large planks and beveled edges. In the end we went with Supercore. Installation scheduled for next week.

All that being said, the flooring from Build Direct was much thinner, and wear layer was only 12 mil (IIRC).

If you do like the current trend in colors, definitely look at the Supercore with the 5G lock system.

We wanted something more traditional color wise, so none of those worked for us.

I've gone down a deep Vesdura rabbit hole this week :) I've been looking at the SPC (Demure, Vista Clay, Natural Sable). If you want to see more photos and info go to montserratfloors.com and click on Inspiration... my understanding is that Montserrat carries Vesdura (brand) and has a partnership with BuildDirect to sell online. I've also seen some available on Home Depot too (under Montserrat name). Also, I called BuildDirect and they said they'd give me an additional discount because I'm ordering more (2200 sqft). He said they would also be having a sale soon and if I ordered before, they would honor the sale price if the sale starts within 30 days of purchase. I really love their website photos and it seems like a great product for the money, but I wish there were more photos posted and reviews! It also looked like Wayfair carried it at some point and the reviews were pretty good so I'm not sure, I might go for it!

So happy to see this thread, I am on the same hunt. I too, am impressed with the Vesdura, I have learned Montserrat & Dekorman products produce a good amount of the Vesdura label for BD, [Wayfair & Walmart as well carry the brands] some at HD under the Proteco label as well. I have boxes of SPC samples from most brands, most look as if they have a plastic sheen on them, all the Supercore samples I ordered have that look to me. The Vesdura samples I have are 20 mm wear and are the only ones I have seen that mimic real wood with the texture and grain with a no gloss, matt finish. I have a sample of capitola and it has a nice wood feel finish, yet the ones I think feel the most like real wood and is my fave and I will most likely order 2100 sq ft of it is surprisingly the 5mm thick 20 ml wear Vesdura proteco and silver lake collection. Def best bang for your buck, yet id be happy to spend more for better, but I find I like this best. Provenza is my second choice. Most def call for volume pricing for large projects. I'm glad to see this thread also. I read somewhere else that Vesdura was also Nexxacore? Can I find the same color under Montserrat then? I I like Demure Natural and ordered Crowned Hazel samples as well but I'd like to see more pictures of installations. They are 20ml. Anyone else have pics or experience?

We looked at the Montserrat brand today for the first time at a local flooring store. This is the first time we are hearing or seeing this brand.
The price point compares to HD lifeproof but with a 20mil 8mm SPC - it sounds too good to be true !!
How does it compare to other brands like Coretec ?

I installed Vesdura Plymouth in my bathroom. Here are some pics. I’m about to install throughout my whole downstairs. I love them!

I have ordered probably 10 or so different styles of Vesdura flooring samples from BuildDirect. I'll start by saying they arrive extremely fast and are packaged very nicely. Quality seems really good on all of them- tongues are strong, pad is nice, passed a few basic scratch tests. However, I'd say the color of almost all of them were different than what is pictured (Rosetta being one of them). I'd be cautious of buying without getting a sample first. There were a lot I really liked online, but definitely wouldn't buy after seeing them in person. Fortunately the one I liked best, Boscawen, looks almost identical to the pictures. I ended up placing an order for 1,400 sqft of it and was able to get a small discount after talking to a rep. All the customer service reps. I've dealt with via their chat feature have been great, as well.

I am thinking about purchasing flooring from Build Direct of Vesdura in color Aphrodite. I ordered sample but looks lighter than pictures on Build Direct'Direct's website. It's so hard to tell from a tiny sample. I can't find any pictures of this color flooring anywhere in someone's actual home. If anyone out there used this color I would really appreciate pictures! Thanks

Im also looking at Vesdura, and would be so grateful for any installed pictures. The online tool makes the floor look completely different depending on which room scene i choose. I am looking at the color Wilson. Thank you in advance!
