I just moved into a new house with a concrete floor in the family room. I'm not sure about it, but my husband loves it so I'm trying to keep an open mind. However, I can't handle how dirty it always looks. I mopped for an hour and it still looks like this. What are my options? Could I stain it? How difficult would it be to do ourselves? I like the idea of the gray floor in the attached picture, I'm just scared I wouldn't be able to achieve that look easily. There are so many to-do projects on our list for this house, it would be a very long time before we could hire someone to make it really nice. I just want to enjoy it in the meantime and I will go crazy if it always looks dirty! Thanks in advance!
