What about SW Mineral Deposit or SW Gris? Anyone have any feedback or experience with either of those two colors?

I'm painting my bathroom a deep blue and have at least 24, if not more, samples at home. I bought samplize sheets, SW, BM and Behr sample paint pots to test out. I would strongly recommend using Behr sample pots to help you narrow down the options because their paint samples are just the right size and only cost 98 cents! Once you have an idea of how deep the color can be in that space, you can then find a very similar color in SW paint.

I seriously feel like I've looked at every freaking blue color out there.

We used SW Debonair in our office. We have it in a recessed closet without the doors. We use it as a bookcase. It is a beautiful color

@Anna (6B/7A in MD) thanks for the tip about the Behr pots! I’d love to know what blues are your favorites.

Hmmm...we have no natural light in the bathroom and finding a blue that doesn't read too dark has been a challenge. I'm in love with BM's Newburyport Blue and Gentleman's Gray which is a very deep, dark blue and too much for my husband. But the ones I'm leaning toward, because I'm looking for a blue paint that has been greyed slightly and with a hint of green, is Behr's Poseidon. The other two I like are Behr's Mammoth Mountain and Deep Breath.

silver strand, I've used it in my previous home. Reads differently depending on the light. I would do a test to see if it's to your liking. I might add I had very similar floors to yours.

We have SW Monorail Silver in our family room. It looks great in there because of all the natural light. I tried it in a windowless bathroom and it looks horrible like mud on the walls. The lighting, natural and artificial, makes all the difference in how paint looks.

Hmm just doing a search because SW Debonair is on my radar. Wondering what did you end up choosing? I flit around from room to room and got an idea to do a deeper blue gray in a powder room which I am working on. White vanity, black countertop- and red river hickory floors. Not sure if it will be too dark but I think it might be nice. Will have a 3 light vanity light.

Anyway curious what you ended up with.

@salonva we chose SW Mineral Deposit. The house is being painted this week, so we haven’t seen out chocies in real life yet.

Not blue, but nice.
