I'm guessing you have MATTE finish??? You state, "A damp mop or microfiber mop seem to leave a film."

The film can be the finish. Low gloss floors (again, I'm assuming...you can load a pic to prove/disprove my theory) have a history of looking 'hazy'.

Load photos please. We'll see what we can see. But everything else sounds OK to me.
