My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    have any of you heard of a product called PLANE - It's porcelain, everything resistant (supposedly) and looks just like marble. Would be great for a kitchen but I'm trying to find out more info on it. the Clacutta is a creamy white with veins - and they have one that looks like carrera also.

      Not going with the plane - don't know anyone who has it installed. Maybe I'm missing the boat but don't want to take a chance. Sticking with granite and solid surface - My local distributor quoted the same price for the PLANE. Too bad PLANE's customer service gal who answered the phone wasn't helpful - i had questions and she said - check the website - it's all there. Yeah - thanks. I still think this looks interesting. One other thing - where they have it installed here - you can see the edges start to come apart where they have put it together. I would like the edge to look thick. I guess it's something to watch......-

      Plane can only do 90 degrees mitered edge. I think I would use it for bathroom walls rather than counter tops? my builder has concern of using porcelain as countertops.
