faucet advice needed

The side sprayer broke, and it has me rethinking if I should replace the whole faucet. As you can see, this Moen fixture has gunk in the parts that is really hard to remove. Would a pull down or pullout be better for this double sink? And can I just get a soap dispenser to fill that the sprayer hole?

Whatever you do...if it has a side lever handle on a pullout faucet (most do), MAKE SURE it's a "forward rotation" handle only! Otherwise, could very well hit the wall when you turn the water on. Faucets took a while to catch up to the undermount, big sink trend....and many times the handles will hit the wall. There are still many faucets out there that are NOT forward rotation only.

The lever on the Kohler Artifacts rotates in the front...from side to side, and matches the traditional style of your present faucet.

There's older thread with pictures of the handle installed forward.

I got Vigo faucets. An "H" and "C" are discretely printed in a light grey on the front of the handle.

I have a Koehler faucet. The lever turns up for cold and down for hot, sweep spray, magnetic docking arm, ceramic disc valves. Came with a soap dispenser too. I love it❣️
