He should have split the difference top and bottom and cut tiles to fit. Also, that two piece thing to the left of the niche would bug the crap out of me.

This should have been addressed before a tile was layed and no grout will not fill a 1” space so now I am wondering what else he did since IMO the corners are done all wrong and if those are 12 x24 tile they should not have been done in a 50% offset either . If you are happy with everything else then proably a aimple sliver of tile is best at thei poing not a bullnose that will just bring attention to the issue.

They did some weird tile cutting, makes no sense. I would have them redo it, did you take other pictures during the process?

How is the gap at the floor being addressed?

Get a small piece of poly trim and neatly put it up there. There's no good tile answer here, IMO - I mean where would you want the small height tile - top? bottom? no - and I am not sure you'd want to make that amount of space up in larger grout lines.

Leave it and paint it. It doesn't need to be filled with anything. It looks like he used full pieces, so there is really nothing to "fix".

Patricia- yes, I also see the weird tile cut by the corner and I am going to ask him to redo that piece. Edges don’t line up perfectly there also but I’m going to leave that alone.

I really wanted the tile all the way to the ceiling- would 1” tile strips look strange? Do I need to just use the poly trim/ or schluter trim as suggested and move on?

Hopefully those rounded river stones on the shower floor are not setting on a foam base.

Same issue here with the 1 inch gap between tile and ceiling. I'm considering putting crown molding around the whole bathroom to cover this. What do you think?
