    That is just creepy.

Does the slider open into the garage? That’s pretty weird too but at least the “occupants” won’t get their hair wet in a storm.

Agents must cringe when chosen to list these kinds of houses. And photographers must just shake their heads. Really, what are people thinking?

I've actually been thinking that maybe I took the bait. Perhaps they made this creepy just so people will post it and it gets more views.

That is bizarre. Several things made me laugh out loud. King headboard, full mattress? No problem! Clean up for photos? Nah!

Did everyone catch the old dog covered up on the sofa?

    What the what???

At least they didn't have them posing on the toilet.

    Wow! That is too weird!

Do you think someone might've had a bridal/formal dress shop that closed?

I didn't see any dog on the sofa.

Also curious about that glimpse of the male mannequin through the doorway...

It all makes me so uncomfortable...

    Where are they now?

After the 2008 real estate market crash the Carringtons and Colbys are no longer feuding over their control of the fortune. Sadly this is not the lowest of their Dynasty, until very recently their days were spent trying on gowns of yesteryear.

Today many have been forced into other employment.

The new digs. They have exchanged gowns for practicality. They don’t look very happy. Could be another crash coming with soaring interest rates and inflation. Oh the worry!

My son is house hunting so I've been scouring the listings. I can't believe the messes that people allow their homes to be photographed in. I can't believe that their agents allow it either.

Wow, the upper level is a total mess, and the lower level is ....weird. Actually, if you removed the mannequins and the overdone decor the lower level wouldn't look that bad, maybe. What's with all the brass bed frames in front of a fireplace ? Is that a statue of the Virgin Mary ? And what's going on in that room with the male mannequin standing and the female mannequins (parts?) on the floor ? You have to admit, those mannequins are pretty awesome, even though it's creepy to have them posed everywhere.

That's what I get for looking on my cell phone. Looked like a small black with white/grey dog bundled up on the sofa to my old eyes. LOL

Thanks for sharing, bbstx. I agree with the article - they don't make mannequins like that used to.

House renter: yes, under the lease you have the right to put the house up for sale and take photos. But don't you dare move or touch any of my things!

How about that (recycled?) aluminum foil backsplash? Just lovely!

I thought is was pretty horrible and then I got to the mannequins. That is just plain weird and scary!!

I find that listing to be insane. Do they live there or did they just take off and left someone to sell it?

Supposedly there are five bedrooms, but I can only see two of them clearly. Imagine what the other three are like!

The owner appears to have occupied both units - probably because he needs space for the "girls."

One of my roommates in San Francisco had a mannequin in our living room - I think he found it in a dumpster. I had to put a dress on her (found in a free box) and a wig. I think one of the other roommates provided the wig.

This building is in a great location if you like to ski - I do not. I hate to think what renovations will cost. It seems to be reasonably priced at $307/sq.ft.

How interesting - thanks for providing that backstory.

Still, kind of funny that he didn't even bother to straighten up for those photos. Heaps of what looks like clothing and towels strewn about - wth?

Who needs real friends when you can have plastic ones?

Someone is not playing with a full deck.

We had neighbors with a dining room with large windows that faced the street. They had mannequins sitting at a set table and they would turn on the dining room lights in the evening. It was a country club neighborhood in a small Southern city, not the least bit eclectic.
