I'd consider solar control window films before an air conditioner. Most are applied on the inside of windows but some on the outside. Some tint the windows and others are nearly clear. There are several manufacturers:

• Solar Gard
• Eastman
• Xpel
• 3M
• Avery Dennison

You might want consider the Avery Dennison Spectrally Selective Interior Films first. Both its films have relatively high Visible Light Transmitted values, don't tint the window too much, and are neutral in color.

I have a large skylight. Before external window film was installed, my condo was miserable in the summer. The film made all the difference.

Any update to this? We are wondering the same. What did you decide to do?

Havent done it yet, the cost is high (4k+!) We did get a much bigger fan which does provide more air movement. Planning on installation some remote control blinds which hopefully will cut down on the sun.

Any other feedback? Considering the same.

I would like to put a mitsubishi Mini-split or just A/C in my sunroom that has EZ Breeze on 3 walls. Any ideas?

I don’t think it’s impossible but make sure you consider all options if it makes sense. Obviously the room is not tightly sealed and insulated so you’d want to oversize a bit. The primary benefit of the mini split heat pump is they are very efficient for heating and cooling, but they’re quite expensive for the replant and installation. If you’re just looking for cooling I would consider other options like a fan and mister. Is this space designed to handle moisture?
