You can see that these sit right next to some grayed down violets! A much warmer purple!

They used Sherwin Williams Limestone, Iron Ore, Alloy, Downing Stone. The living room in Limestone, is pictured below, but the article may give you some inspiration or send you down a different path.

Are you wanting a kind of dark and moody look or glam? you mentioned the room doesn't get much light so when using dark colors want to make sure your expectations of the feel of the room. Any pictures or samples you can share?

Maris, I'd suggest that when you're ready to get final samples, use Samplize. These are tricky hues. Do you know what undertones your sofa has?

You have one room saved in your IB! It really isn’t gray but a light mauve/ purple. Try to save some more rooms so we can get a better idea of what it is you want. I very much like a moody light purple, it can be very chic!

Were you thinking light, medium, or dark? How purple? Warm purple or cool purple?

Hard to say, but you could look at BM Winter Gray.

I used SW Midnight in one of my rooms. It’s a really great dark purple color. And SW mysterious Mauve is a grayish purple.

I have Silver Lining in my bedroom and it does have a periwinkle tinge to it at times
