While you are musing, and wanting us to do it with you.............go draw the room, find a measuring tape, and a pencil. Add every dimension to the drawing, , walls, door , window etc. Take a photo and post it. Take a photo of the room as is, NOW with what you just drew. Post it all.

Thanks Jan. I’m working with a designer at the furniture store where I’m getting the furniture. She’s making up a design for me. I think we’re going with the bed by the long window option.

Thanks Susan. Actually the furniture I’m getting are part of a specific group, but don’t all match. I know there is this design trend to get mismatched pieces, but to me it’s too much like getting the hand me downs from my parents for picking up random items that don’t go. Right now I have mission style Sauder dressers I bought at Shopko and a vintage looking nightstand, and they don’t match at all. Having some sort of coordination will be welcome. I could use some help picking out which night stand though. Here are the pieces. I’ll post the two nightstands in a separate comment.
