small bedroom dilemma

I’m looking to buy now furniture for my bedroom. It’s a pretty small bedroom, and I figure I have only about 84” of wall space for my dressers. It seems I have to choose between getting one long dresser that is shorter so I can put a mirror above, or getting two taller and narrower chests with potentially a mirror in between. The two taller chests would give me comparable drawer space to what I have now and would leave my outlet available on that wall. Of course, I could always use an extension cord coming from behind a wide dresser, but I wouldn’t want it to show. I like the idea of the more traditional look of a wider dresser with mirror above, but I’m not sure I’m ready to sacrifice on drawer space.

A second alternative might be to move my bed to the long wall in front of the window, then I may be able to fit in both the wide dresser and the tall one on the other side. However, then my headboard would be in front of a heating duct, as well as partially covering a window (it would in either position, but this window is lower and longer). The tall dresser as well would be partially covering the other window.

If I didn’t just remodel my kitchen, I’d be thinking about buying a new house about now.
