Furniture Design Dilemma Home Decorating

Stuck on LR layout!

We are moving into anew home and while the LR is a great size, I have no idea how to set it up! We have a blank slate as we will need to purchase all furniture. What would you suggest for couch, chair, tv etc layout? This is also the entry area so I’ll need to also think about a location for coats and shoes.

Measurements of the room would help, but in the meantime, I will use this photo to help explain my ideas.

You want two of the same rugs, even though they may have to be two different sizes makes no difference. You sant the sofa backs at least 3’ apart so that front door entry has a walkway.

Fireplace end you could add a chair in the corner, similar to right side of photo.

Dining room end, you could add a full size sofa on the long interior wall.
