Have you considered angling the sofa?

Filling the corner with a faux tree and floor lamp, then see how you want to position the wall decor.

If there’s a window across from circles, putting the picture on that wall would put glare on picture not reflect light into room, even with non glare glass if picture has that. Are you thinking the picture would be more visible with light shining directly at it? Just making sure you don’t think it’d be like a mirror which would reflect light into the room. IMO, from the little bit of room you’re showing us, I think the current arrangement works the best. The circles are bigger overall & fill the space - I think the picture would be lost hanging by itself on that wall. The torchiere light you have in corner should put light on the picture. BTW, I understand your husband’s lack of enthusiasm for moving the circles!
