We are replacing our tile floors and need suggestions that will work with existing adjacent wood floors. Looking at light cream and beige tiles in a larger size than original 12 by 12. Also considered a wood look ceramic tile and also replace wood in family room off the kitchen ( but we want to keep the wood in the front rooms off the entry/foyer area. We have pets so I like the durability of tile in kitchen area. Any suggestions (pros and cons) appreciated. I don’t want to make a costly design mistake.
