Repotting inevitably tears roots and after that they usually appreciate a couple of weeks in reduced light. This allows the roots to recover without working quite as hard as they have to in full sun.

It will recover assuming the soil you used has great drainage, the pot has holes in the bottom, and you didn't add any nonsense like rocks on the bottom.

I just used the soil straight from the bag, should I have mixed the soil with anything? Also I did put a layer of rocks on the bottom (that’s what someone else told me to do).. should I try removing the rocks from the bottom, is there anything else you suggest to put on the better to help with drainage?

While I would not disturb and further stress the plant now so soon after repotting, the next time you do, skip the rocks! They don't improve drainage - in fact, quite the opposite. They slow water movement and only serve to raise the perched water table.

Bagged potting soils tend be less than ideal and many container gardeners go for faster draining, longer lasting custom mixes. If you don't care to go that route, adding a third to a half more perlite or pumice to the mix can help.

Thank you for the help! I am also noticing that there are a bunch of earwigs (pincher bugs) in the soil. Will that kill the plant?
