Is this a dropping/animal/larva??

These are 4-10mm, on a small perch by an unused bathtub and over the floor near the edge of an unused sliding glass door (hasn't been opened in over a decade). When cleared from the perch, they appear again in a few days. Haven't seen any signs of life. Reverse image search didn't yield anything suggestive, mostly butterfly larvae and small birds. Anyone know what these are?

    My pest control person told me if there a white bit at the end it's geckos. Roaches are an oval shape with no white bit and mice don't have the white bit either. But that's just second hand info. Ask your pest control person.
