Can't help without a picture.

If you look carefully you’ll see dark spots only seen at an angle when the light reflects off, pretty much only on the side of the soap dispenser. Completely smooth. I was using a seventh generation hand soap...I can list any suspicious ingredients if that might be the culprit. I just want it fixed!!

nothing harsh just seems like it absorbs into the finish. havent started to try and remove yet. any pointers?

I have the same problem with a vanity I bought also: regular liquid hand soap has left stains or discoloration marks on the stone top. Doesn’t anyone know of a way to remove them? It’s very hard to capture them in photos but here are a few.

I have the same problem on my Lowes vanity top! have even tried baking soda but didn’t dent the spots!

I installed a quartz vanity top from Lowe’s for my mother in law, and I noticed that it the instruction booklet said soaps, toothpastes, etc would etch the surface. It said the top should be wiped clean at all times.
