Our designer worked with the homeowner on this project to re-purpose 1400SF of space on the main floor. This area previously included; a hallway, living, den, kitchen, nook, family, laundry, bath and services room. Many walls were removed and the space was entirely re configured to suit the needs of a large and busy family! The new space includes an additional bedroom, an open concept kitchen, dining and living room, a multi use craft room/office, an enlarged bathroom and some much needed storage space for the kids. The far wall is about 39ft. long and includes 11ft. of cabinetry and a 4ft pantry. The range wall is 18ft.6in. long. The island itself is 12ft 9in by 5ft across. We certainly had some great space and a creative, willing homeowner and contractor to work with!
