Good afternoon Marnie, This is a solid surface quartz countertop. It is realitivly easy to install for a professional countertop fabricator. What you need to know is that there are support brackets made for extra deep countertops supporting this top. What wasn't easy is the custom cabinetry doors to allow for the tight clearances.
