Well, you're leaving it wide open for us. Wave Runner is a favorite of mine and being a sport of Squash Casserole (another good choice), I'd think it can take a lot of sun. I have mine in mostly full sun after about 2 PM and it holds up fine. I had another one in more shade and I didn't like the coloration on it as well, so I moved it into more sun last year. Not my favorite pic of it, but one I haven't posted yet.

Oh my goodness, no June??? It laughs at the sun......and not a single crispy leaf in 6 hours of direct sunlight.

I've heard Praying Hands likes sun..there could be other reasons that mine declined but more sun was recommended..

Thanks all...... I do have several Junes around the garden as well as Praying Hands and Stained Glass.. I am going to consider your suggestions and I was thinking also of Irish Luck. Big decision to make. One thing I am trying to do is mix colors in this bed. Any other Blue suggestions are welcome........

My sun hostas include Guacamole, June, June Spirit, Sum & Substance, other S&S types like Final Summation, Krossa Regal, Regal Splendor, Halcyon, Orange Marmalade, Olive Bailey Langdon, Invincible, Atlantis, Key West, and I can't remember what all else... My Blue Angels, Blue Mammoth, and Blue Umbrellas see quite a bit of sun, too. Just gotta water 'em.

Don't forget to check the Sun Hosta list!

Debra I know you have BME and it does well in the sun. My Powder Blue gets sun all or most of the day. Not blue but Winter Snow is a winner too.

Most of my blues take quite a bit of sun. I would add Fragrant Blue and Astral Bliss.

Krossa Regal!

No yellows in that bed? How about Sun Power? It absolutely glows, and as the name says - likes the sun.

Windy, I actually have a shade bed in another location with several yellows, Maui Buttercups, Fire Island and Sum & Substance. In fact, I found I have many sun tolerant hostas growing mostly in shade. Krossa, Blue Angel, Whirlwind, June’s, They are doing well so I don’t think I want to move them as the change in growing conditions could be problematic, maybe. I never realized there were “ sun tolerant “ hostas until a few years ago. So much has changed in my knowledge set since I began gardening and was told hostas were shade plants and I had a mostly shady garden at the time. I was thinking a blue might be a nice contrast to what’s planted there now, perhaps a blue and a yellow is the way to go???? Isn’t more always better? :-)

Ben Vernooij is a real nice blue and yellow, lol. But it keeps the yellow much better in the shade.

Wait, you only ordered 2 Hostas from a vendor? How did you manage that? It's like eating only a single Lays potato chip, but worse. Oh, you must have added it to an existing order. I really like Astral Bliss, but when I went to order it previously, it was sold out. I keep looking at it, but think I already have so many like it. Maybe your new one will push me over the brink (again).

Actually steve, I had to order one from Uniquely Hostas and One from LOTG. Neither one had both and Hornbakers had neither one. Sooooooo, anyway I hope my AB will inspire you. I have already ordered so many......... I had my hip surgery in January figuring I would be all healed up in time for planting. But you know, always expect the unexpected ....... now the hip has bursitis, again, in that hip. Kinda not sure how everything will go....... but then, remember I have Bert!! :-)
