Yes, I know this would be a question. I wrote a post 3 times and it just doesn't post. Seems like maybe if my post is really simple (2 words?) it goes. But as soon as I spend my valuable time writing a full post, it does NOT post.... Seriously, not making it up.

Houzz has certain words on the automatic filter list. They've never (to my knowledge) posted a full list of those words, so it's sometimes hit or miss. Curse words and certain political words, for sure, will get captured for a mod's review, but it will also grab the A-word (starts with A, ends with mazon) and any link to that site. If you haven't included any triggers, maybe Houzz is still having difficulties. A couple of days ago the GW url (from gardenweb holdovers) was in limbo.

Well, maybe a warning? The form literally just disappears and offers the ability to BROWSE posts by category. My post vanishing. The back button doesn't help.

Something like that. Maybe a bit more info. Maybe the extra characters like the quotes, or commas cause the issue?

FYI, the site in general is being very glitchy for me too.

They did some code changes or something about 48 hours ago, and I've had a heck of a time moving around in here since then. I'm having a hard time getting posts to actually submit too. It's not just you. Not saying it couldn't be caught up in one of their super-secret filters...but those words rarely show up on the kitchen forum these days. :) In years past yes, but I haven't seen a good knock-down drag out fight here in ages.

I would bet if there were some spam settings that blocked my post, it was the keywords....

Yup, I made the post simple and it worked. I tried 3 times prior to that on several different occasions with the same question. I'm pretty sure the spam filter got me because of the "over the counter" phrase in the title or something.

Houzz is just buggy. Don't go crazy looking for rhyme or reason to it.

If you're spending any time making a post, copy (ctrl C for Windows) and hold it until it posts so you don't have to redo it.

When Houzz is being glitchy, I will copy what I've written to another app (Word, or Notepad) before hitting submit. Usually after I've already lost one post to the ether.

Houzz is glitchy to say the least. When i comment on someones post sometimes I get an email when additional comments are added and sometimes I don't.

Same issue I can not post either

sometimes with computers a reboot will help.
