It is a beautiful space. I love your sconces but they do make it hard to hang art- I would love to see a big painting over that console but the sconce throws it off... Maybe a big gold framed antique mirror (I love a mirror near the main door) You could also paint the back of the front door gloss black for a little pop...

and a more substantial larger piece of art between the two doors. Lovely entryway!

A gold mirror? Would that clash with the sconces? I love the idea of it but I’m one of those who gets nervou of mixed metals! I love the look but feel it’s so hard to get it “right”!

Safe is boring. A gilded mirror is a design classic, but a nice antique wood mirror would be fine too- I just like the sparkle that gold leaf adds. It’s just like ‘art doesn’t have to match the sofa...’

Beautiful entrance! I’d like to see a wider runner, mirror where you have the small art, large art over your console, with a picture light over it. Or keep the small art there and add a large antique mirror over the console. And add a beautiful lamp to the console (maybe 2 lamps).

Okay, another suggestion. What about just a large piece of artwork where you have the console and a small console under the artwork, where you'd replace the artwork with a mirror.

I think a mirror would look so beautiful there.
