Help on recessed lighting layout in MBR..before husband losses mind ;)

Hi Any lighting professionals on today? (I hope :)

We are adding 4 6" recessed LED lights (940 lumen each) to our master bedroom (pic below). The room has a sliding door and we have lamps on both nightstands so room is not dark but I like bright spaces so we'd like additional "general" lighting that we'll put on LED dimmer. (...also thinking brighter is better for resale down the road??)

We have 8' ceilings and room measures 161" by 192" (13'5" x 16"). We have a ceiling fan (with no light) centered in room. A lighting guide that we've used successfully in past (on more square rooms) suggest placing lights as shown in diagram below but our MBR is rectangular so have a few questions....

**MBR pic and layout diagram w measurements, included below

Here are our questions:

- Are the 80.5' and 90" distances between lights too far apart? (90" is 8 feet so don't want weird shadows, etc)

- Also, if lights in corners are at 48" and 40.3" from walls, as suggested in layout tool, they are not equidistant in corners...it's a rectangular room so assuming needs to be like this but making sure it won't look odd (like they shouldn't be 44" from each wall)

- Last question - and I'm probably obsessing too much but - fan is close to center but off about 3/4".....will we be ok? Could measure out from fan but realize then that wall distances might be off a bit...which perhaps is ok if it's more important for the fan to be dead center...

Thank you, in advance!

Master Bedroom - Bed is on the long wall (192" wall), glass slider is on short wall on your right
