Help with lighting style!

last modified: 5 years ago

We are renovating the entire main level of our house. I have been pretty confident in my choices up to this point. However, I seem to have a block when it comes to lighting. I am hoping for some design help. I have posted pictures. I am open to all options. I lean toward the gold fixtures but I really like mixed metals, too. Help! I am stuck!

A few notes:

- If it is not circled, it is a can light. (I know, I didn’t put pendants over the bar. I just don’t like a blocked view.)

- Ceilings are 8ft.

- The kitchen will have white shiplap on the sink wall and stove wall. The pulls and pot filler are champagne gold. The faucets are polished chrome. Appliances are stainless. One apron sink (shown) and a corner undermount stainless sink.

-The dining room will have an accent wall painted Magnolia 1906 green. The dining table is round and seats six.

- The entry will be beach house white with a custom stained bench. Trim will be bright white. The beam will be wrapped and stained a honeyish color.

- Floors are luxury vinyl plank in Shaw Florte HD Plus Forests.
