Hi all,

I am planning on changing out my old garden window in the front of the house (in the kitchen inside) to a more modern one. I am also planning on narrowing the existing window size to get a couple more kitchen cabinets on either side of the new window. To compensate for the light loss due to width reduction, I was planning on making the new window taller. The window cannot be any lower because of the kitchen countertop inside.

I got some design ideas from a window company and wanted some input on what would look best on the outside and also be practical in the kitchen. Any other design suggestions are welcome.
