I'd start with a long decorative console table against the wall, art work or mirror on the wall, etc.

Please provide a photo showing the wall that faces the sofa so we can see if you can push the sofa forward enough for a sofa table behind it, which could be very attractive.

Otherwise, layout like this would work well--console table against wall with a mirror or art work and a great runner to create a pathway into your home. I love how the colored door also defines and brightens the space, which isn't really a foyer but now functions like one.

You could put the console directly behind the sofa that can hold keys and stuff, then put a huge piece of art on the wall that takes advantage of the lights.

I would put 2 matching console tables there and hang a series of 2 to 4 inexpensive poster prints over them to give a sense of progression and entrance. Don’t know your tastes, but I would go for either of these type of series, or a series of vintage travel prints or black and white photos of famous cities, or landscape themes

PS: Right inside the vestibule of the front door, if there isn’t a closet there, consider a pair of coat hooks for guests. Even if there is a closet, consider hanging a very narrow full length mirror in that vestibule.

By the way, it is fine to use the console tables for keys and mail, especially if you put a valet tray or organizing box on the tables, along without your collection of beach rocks, etc.

Another idea: If you find a photo you really like and it is not expensive, it can look great to put 3 of them in a row on the wall, in a repetition
