Silicone stain on marble

The silicone used to seal the backsplash to the top left a stain on the marble, visible the following day.
Acetone had no effect.
What will remove the stain?

Google a "poultice". May work and may not work as many times silicone bleed is permanent, stone dependent.

Cover the acetone with Saran Wrap, tape the edges and leave it overnight please.

This has also happened on our wall 😭 it was never like this at

Just an update on my situation - it’s been months, the stain is still there, but over time it has slowly been absorbed up the slab, so that the shadow is not so dark, but lighter and more spread out and up - definitely less noticeable. I decided to just “let it go” as one houzzer did on another thread, as they don’t notice their stain anymore. Hopefully in about a year it’ll be totally gone? I hope so. :)
