Lucky you! We expect an early season too. Our last bout of cold weather doesn't seemed to have hurt the daylilies and they are getting quite large.

Good. I look forward to seeing what will cost me money this yea,r like Samsational did last year. I don't know how early the seasonwill be for here, but the last couple of frosts were light enough to cause no trouble here. More blessed is that for all the hail that fell in our state Saturday, we escaped all of it.

Hail can do so much damage, not only to plants but cars, roofs, etc. So glad you escaped that. We don't often have hail here and when we do, it is usually small, but even that can cause a lot of damage. Bob grew up in the Denver area and they often get baseball sized hail.

There was some baseball and a lot of golf and marble sized tn the state and we really feel blessed to miss it.

I am ready to see your blooms too, Kay! Usually when yours start blooming I know mine should start showing scapes.

We just had a hard freeze last week and rain ever since it seems. I'm still in the process of renewing the potting mix in my old daylilies and potting all the new incoming. Scapes?? Not soon for me. I will look forward as usual to Kay starting off the season...........Maryl
