I should note that the garage windows are the ubiquitous frosted plastic, not black. I removed the fan design insert for a cleaner look.

Too dark of a color for use everywhere except the door for me. Seems depressing.

Thanks Martha. I did some pretty big swatches with a lighter gray and felt it didn’t have enough heft, if you will. I’ll post another pic when it’s done.

I’ll watch for that. I do think the green door looks great with your lush landscaping.

I could not be more happy! I LOVE IT! I went with a very dark gray. Deep Space by KM and the door is Green Bananas, also KM.

My exterior is mostly shingles and the paint made them come alive. I also have a bowl fountain in the front yard that I had painted the same as the door.

I leave my house and say to myself, that is one good looking casa. I come home and say the same thing. Sometimes I just sit and stare. I will say that I think it shocked some of the neighbors. There are a lot of traditional paint jobs in my neck of the woods.

@Jules - are you my neighbor? LOL! My street is a study in tans, beiges and taupes. I'm having mine painted in SW Inkwell (with white trim) in a couple of weeks and I can't wait! But I know some folks 'round here are going to be shocked, ha!
