what if you pushed back all of the furniture, and maybe did a sofa table behind the sofa? would that be ok to walk through or do you have to have that aisle? it's hard to tell from the photo.

Thanks for your ideas! The console I had was about 6 feet long. I agree that what I have up there is too small right now- it’s really just a placeholder while I figure it out. I had considered doing more rows of the photos like you shared.

Can art/photos be wider than the console/bench beneath them? I’m not sure the “rules” on that.

not usually, but can it? yes, of course. it just depends on what you use.

this is what I had in mind when I mentioned a plant or basket on the end. buys you a little more real estate.

all these blues are pretty (see how the pictures all work w/each other?) you may not have enough room for the chairs and stools.
