Shop and post pix of what you find that you like. We can help you decide, but it is important to let us see the style of your surrounding rooms. The entryway should introduce you, your style and set the expectation for what will be found in adjacent rooms. FYI, I'm not a fan of big box store battery operated clocks. Once you find the right size table (maybe nearly as long as the opening across the hall) then we'll shop for art.

The light looks great. NOW...work from there to establish a style for your entrance.

When redoing a space the best thing is to have an overall concept for how you want it to feel vs first choosing items.

First thing I would do is remove the coats at entrance as they are cumbersome as you enter. Idea below is flush to wall/attractive when you enter. Both of these items will be easy to find.

Where the clock is, I’d add something like below. More useful and attractive.

I’d add a runner - close up in second picture.

Finally, I think the lighting you chose seems a bit large and one below is similar but more compact and has a more versatile style. Aim for something that can be adjusted to the right height for your ceiling, or a semi-flush.

Your choices are very nice! I am also looking for a new entry light. How high are your ceilings? I am limited by an 8’ ceiling so I’m looking at semi-flush mounts that are no more than 12” in overall height., which will leave 84” from the bottom of the fixture to the floor.

Would you do smaller one?? My ceiling was a 7ft 8in

Hi, If your floor to ceiling is only 7’8” then I would do a smaller one, at least in height. I like to leave 7’ from the bottom of the fixture to the floor. You might be able to stretch it a bit, just be sure to clear the door in the entry! If your current light is 13” from the ceiling to the bottom of the fixture, then the smaller beaded one in your photo from amazon could work since it’s only 1/2” more in overall height. It’s beautiful!
