So great to see those 1st blooms, and it is a cheery color. Dumortieri's blooms are very early, but not shaped so nicely

Just as this first bloom appeared, the weather in my neighborhood turned chilly - we're expecting highs in only the mid 60's for the next week. Past experience has told me that this weather just might wreck havoc on the blooming cycles of my early earlies. Sigh!
