I have a black grid farmhouse style shower stall. 4ft x 3 ft. The 4 feet length opposite the door.

When I look for tile inspiration, 99.9 per cent photos are pairing this type of shower stall with regular old subway tile. I’d like to do something a bit more adventurous, and wonder how the bold graphic styles would look with it? See attached for screenshots from Pinterest.

The last photo is my actual bathroom. Long length of the stall runs along the window wall.

I’d appreciate any feedback if this might be over the top or hard to do well? my house is very old and corners are likely off, so matching large patterns might be tricky. Help!
