What's wrong with my stephanotis?

It was green throughout winter (indoors in SW window with supplemental light). It even had several buds/nubs (first time) that had formed in the fall but then stalled. I brought it out once danger of frost was gone, partly because cooler weather is supposed to help in flowering. Anyhow, the last weeks have been colder than the once before them and there were some windy dry days as well. Now, I have patches of beige/cream dried up spots on a majority of the leaves and some leaves have dried of and fallen. One last bud/nub of 6/7 from last year is still hanging in there but I don't have much hope for it. Is it just wind/frost damage or something more sinister that I should worry about? It is potted in a six inch Azalea terracotta pot in a well draining mix (perlite+MG or such) and watered when dry. It's probably 5-6 feet long.
