After so much damage, the first thing I do is try to stabilize the plant. Make sure the neck is still stable and hasn't been ripped from the roots. If yours was newly planted I'd check that out because it looks off-kilter in the pot. You may need to repot it again.

Initially, I usually leave the remaining broken stems and leaves, unless they're crushed. They'll usually start to die on their own and I then just remove each dying piece.

eta: looking again at your first photo, I would remove the small nubs of stem that are near the bottom of the neck.

If the neck has been broken from the roots, the solution is different. In that case, make a clean cut at the lowest possible good portion of neck. Remove some of the lower leaves so that a bit of neck is exposed. Gently scrape any brown parts from the exposed neck, dip it in rooting hormone, and push it down into moistened potting mix. Water it, take the usual care of it, and it will root and start again.

I don't think the neck is broken but I will perform surgery on it today. I almost lost my mind when I found it. Ugh!

Ohhh shoot!! I've been raising avs thru 5 different kids and every one of them has gotten their hands into a violet at some point! 🤦😬 i don't think any of them have looked this bad tho!

Like PartyMusic said, it's deff salvagable!! Post a pic of it once you've performed surgery. :)

All is not lost, your crown is good. Leave the roots on, clean off all the broken stems and keep just the good crown. Scrape the neck lightly and sink it into a pot and fill in with soil. Water just a little and baggie it. Should recover nicely! Rosie
