My wife and I are trying to figure out what to do in our LR/Kitchen & Den there is paneling everywhere in both rooms! Here is a photo, we were thinking a stain to lighten it up but to keep the uniqueness of the home. One room is made up of the knotty pine and the other is made of Pecky Cypress. Any ideas? Here are the 2 rooms pictured. Thanks for your ideas for whitewashing it or anything else. We want to brighten it up!
