No to shutters way to small and never look right on a double window IMO

Thank you that is what I have been telling my husband. The purpose of shutters is to protect a window & they should be able to cover window when closed.

Your shutters are very skinny and ill proportioned for your windows. Take them off. Personality can be added to your home in other ways. With a colorful front door, hanging baskets on your porch, pretty landscaping. Good luck!

I love shutters, but in your case, agree with others. Your window trim is really nice and I think might look better alone.

I’d remove them, live with it a bit, decide from there. You can always put them back on. :)

Definitely no shutters. Once you get porch furniture and do some landscaping, your home will shine! Notice the visual interest in the image below ... wavy border, layers of plants of varying heights, color...
