Cut down Kieffer? Fire blight

Almost every limb on one of my 4 year old wildlife Kieffer pears has the classic, blackened shepherds hook of fire blight. Am I better off just cutting it down? and re-planting next year? or see what happens? I'm assuming it will only get worse. I don't see how I can prune every limb, especially towards the top. I've read the

are resilient and can take fire blight hits but I'm not sure about this one. It's been a bad year so far with multiple frosts zapping the blossoms, and tiny pears, then a lot of rain recently.

I seem to be having more headaches with pears than my apples. Maybe I should have used a copper spray early on.
