It is possible (along with dozens of others). The leaf size should be 11x9 but could be smaller in a pot. Could you show a close up of the leaf that is directly behind the leaf in the first pic?

peren, that pic was taken last year when the hosta was in bloom. I imagine you are looking at the funky leaf and thinking virus but I don't see any evidence of it :)

Yes all the other leaves look fine so I was not really thinking virus. I was just curious.

The flower buds would fit with AMST.
