Daylilies open today

Dappled Dynamo has won the race for the first non-species to open in the garden for the year. This little one is a blooming fool. I think it was the last one blooming last fall. It appears to be a bud builder.

Falconer was planted (in a pot) this spring. I hope this one is hardy and fertile.

This seedling is Geometric Wizard X (Curious Cutie X Impressionist Sky). Geometric Wizard's kids all resemble it, but not as nice. I probably won't breed anymore with it. This is the first time for this seedling to bloom.

When Bob came home for lunch, we went for a drive around the garden and I found another one blooming. This is Heavenly Pink Angel, a new one from Jamie Gossard. Jamie has a line of smallish dips. Most are bigger than true small, but are much smaller than the the average dip uf. We have picked up a few of them to use in our tall and small diploid breeding. This one is new (is actually a club plant) and is still in a pot.

The asiatic lilies are beginning to bloom. I don't know the name of this one. The martagon lilies have buds too. I can't wait to see those. It will be the first time for them to bloom.

The gallardia is getting going.

Falconer is quite pretty and you seedling isn't bad...It surely reminds of its parent.

I do like Falconer. I almost ordered it this Spring but knew I already had too many coming. I think your seedling has pretty colors and a pretty pattern.

Pretty blooms. I just picked up some gallardia at the nursery yesterday. I loved having it in the old NY garden.

Falconer is pretty. And your gallardia is quite healthy! I love my blanket flower. It blooms through fall in my garden.

its great to blooming in your neck of the woods. wouldnt it be great if mostdaylilies had the habits of Dappled Dynamo!

Hmmm. I wonder what happened to my post. Falconer is a pretty one. The Heavenly Pink Angel is pretty too. Your Geometic Wizard kid is pretty.
