Yellow spots on leaves?

Had this plant in the family for over 50 years! It has been transplanted numerous times... Started to develop these yellow spots this winter, thought I just accidently hit it with carpet spray but even the new leaves are developing spots. Ideas?

The overall plant looks healthy to me. Is it just the one clump with yellow spotting on the leaves? if so, I would suspect it is sporting to be a variegated form.

track them all down into the plant.. and see if that part is damaged further down ... if its all coming from one part of the plant ...

when was the last time repotted.. media does wear out .. and can create watering issues..

whenever i have some precious heirloom plant .. i propagate a new piece or two ... so i have a failsafe should the old one pass on ... often i get rid of the old beast so as to completely renovate the plant ...

and if i end up with extras.. they are gifts to unsuspecting visitors.. lol...
