I go through a lot of balsamic vinegar. I thought if it says Modena on the bottle that's where it's from. I sometimes spend $12-20 on a bottle at Whole Foods, but I still like Trader Joe's Balsamic for a lot less. It's a little on the sweet side, but that's okay. I found that the calorie count usually is a tip-off as to how sweet it will be.

I‘ve enjoyed this one that I found at Grocery Outlet of all places. It’s a little thick amd so flavorful.

I really like this one. Due Vittorie Oro Gold Balsamic Vinegar. It's on Amazon. A little goes a long way so I don't mind the high-ish price per ounce.

Someone gave me this in a gift basket and I really liked it:

Not sure if it was the 10yr or 6yr

I like costco brand

Same here.

I've never splurged and paid the big bucks for the [really, really] aged balsamic at Bay Cities Imports in Santa Monica. They keep the bottles -- small, all of them -- under lock and key.`

If I were to find a $100 bill on the sidewalk, maybe . . .

I like the Costco stuff.

My favorite everyday balsamic is Giuseppe Giusti Premio, for me the right mix of acidity and sweetness for things like salad dressing. The company makes vinegars at different price points and I had a cheap one that was pretty bad, so look for the bottle below.

World Market has it for a very low $5.99. Walmart has it for an overpriced $33. I think I paid around $20 at my local grocery/deli, but it's been a while since I bought any.

I use Fini. Haven't noticed a change. I also buy a couple bottles of Fini's Limited Edition each year when Costco offers it as a special buy. It's a thicker balsamic.

Fini Limited Edition

Thank you everyone. I appreciate the tips and will order a few of these.

Annie, I have liked the Costco one in the past as well. Will try that again.

Coco, do you mind telling me where you buy your Fini regularly?

I buy it at Albertson's and online at Supermarket Italy.
