Please list ALL of the cleaning products you have ever used on them as well as how you use them and how often per week/month/year you use them.

Dullness often comes from product build up. That means removing 15 years of stuff. Don't add anything. We'll have a look at what you've been doing and advise you from there.

And do you know what kind of finish was used when they were refinished? What the manufacturer of that product recommended for cleaning? Whatever you do, do NOT use murphy's oil soap to clean them.

Agree....no Oil Soap. A spritz of vinegar water on a dry mop Is best....but it won't remove product build up if that's what you have.

Gosh, I have probably used multiple products to clean the floors over 15 years...too many to remember. But one was probably Murphy's Oil Soap. Recently I have used Shark floor cleaner with my Shark mop, due to puppy peeing on the floor.

I'd try white vinegar and water, as Linda suggests. It's possible the products you've used have ruined the finish, but if not, vinegar will help strip any products that are sitting on top of the finish and dulling it. This article also suggests using Dr Bonner castile soap. I have no experience with that, but have used vinegar water for many years...1 c distilled vinegar to a gallon of water.

I have found using a robotic vacuum (like roomba) frequently keeps hardwood floors nice. My first floor is vacuumed nightly, and my second floor five days a week.

Hardwood finished don't need "product". They need the grit kept off, and an occasional slightly damp microfober mopping.

I usually use water and a microfiber mop. Every once in awhile if I've had high traffic with people wearing shoes in the house, I will use True Clean floor cleaner that is suggested by my floor manufacturer (Hallmark). I have heard vinegar isn't a good idea for wood.
