iochroma, thank you. I can get that at my local ACE hardware. I was going to get it but wasn't sure I could use it on my houseplants.

Nancy, I use pure imidacloprid for tree and shrub also but off brand on line thru Home Depot called 'Compare and Save'. Picked up locally free at my Home Depot store. (just googled imidacloprid and many options shows up)

I also order on line a gallon of Sevin with carbaryl. Not used anymore. This stuff is used on garden plants and is a killer of Aloe mite. I used to use the Sevin dust but is a little messy.

Let me know what you need in replacement. So far, I'm doing well.

Check if Ace has old stock of Sevin. It may contain carbaryl. Even the new stock will mix with imidacloprid for a double shot to get everything under control.

I have used Bonuses systemic for houseplants. It has Imidicloprid. If you have many plants to treat, it might not be cost effective. I get it throught True Value or Ace Hardware.

Shana, I have been using Bonide granules regularly for years, I mark it on my calendar when to do it again, and I'm still having problems. I don't think the granules work that well for sansevieria that don't get watered too often, especially during winter.

I wonder too, if these little nasties can become resistant? I really dislike what auto text does, sometimes. I'm glad you are a good translator.

I can't spell to save my sole. Good thing for spell checker but then I have to copy into my excel spreadsheet then back into here. There are a lot of times spellchecker gives up and after many tries then I pick another work close to what I wanted to say. Posting here has helped my spelling tremendously. The more you use something the better you become.

I just can't get used to using my phone for nothing but taking pictures. I give up. No way could I text anything on such a small devise. My wife is an expert on hers and had showed me many times and still, no way. Hate it. I love my computer and with a huge 17 inch screen.

Fingers crossed, I just used Bioadvanced tree and shrub on my sansevieria, I hope I can get this under control. I made sure I cut off all the flowers that were coming up.

Ugh......I just saw this thread. I delt with these a long time ago when I first started into Sans. They are horrible. You need the systemics as they hide in the leaf crevices (until there are too many of them) but I would just toss any common ones that have this.......they are hard to cure. I had good luck bare-rooting the plant and dunking the whole thing in a bucket of the spray mixture (I believe Bayer at the time), then replanting in new soil and watering it (soaking the soil) with the same mixture. Best of luck. I HATE those root mealies.

Stush personal life has been busy with good things. Professional life out of nowhere suddenly a bit in turmoil so I am busy working on that at the moment. Most of my larger Sans did not survive the last winter due to an office move. However still got representative of my select hahni and futura types, along with a small variegated masoniana. I check in when I can and always good to "see" everyone!

Hope all works out for you. Since retired I only have a personal life. With age, not getting any easier every year but that is normal. If any plants you want, let me know.
