Kay, the tropical storm rain is missing us-can’t imagine any storm cloud skirting around us!!

That clump of Rocket Blast is fabulous!! Love the snuggle shot of Butterscotch. Carolina Sugar Daddy is showing that edge. Blue Dolphin finally bloomed for you-yours is darker edged than mine. Mine has not multiplied well-a disappointment in that area although the blooms are soft and lovely. This rain will probably hasten rebloom. I already have rebloom scapes appearing from our rain event. Very pretty post!

Kate, I was so pleased when Blue Dolphin finally bloomed. Butterscotch is my garden cat...He is always out and still follows me around. He stays in the greenhouse when it rains. And the tropical rain has been falling here all day. these photos are from yesterday and I actually took photos in the rain today which I will probably post tomorrow because it is wet, wet, wet.

I am liking Rambunctious Rosie, but they all look so nice. Cabbage Butterfly makes Butterscotch look small, love a orange tabbycat! No rain here, could use some, starting to get dry. Should get a good chance Monday afternoon.

Kay: That photo of Butterscotch next to Cabbage Butterfly is so cute. Cats find the most unusual places to take a nap. You always get such great blooms on Laura Harwood. When I grew it the blooms were horrible.Maybe it has to do with timing since it was a late bloomer in NY. Rambunctious Rosie looks good. It took a 2 seasons in the old gardent to really strut its stuff. Not sure why as most of Judy's took off pretty good.

Thank you, Julia. Butterscotch is all over the garden. He follows me wanting to be petted and gets it. I have always liked Rosie from the first season you sent her to me. And Laura always seems to do well here.

I love the photo of Butterscotch and Cabbage Flower. Carolina Sugar Daddy reminds of my late blooming seedling with the 40 plus buds. I guess its because they're both descended from August Frost. Laura Harwood is always a pretty one in the late season. You have gotten a lot of rain this year. We are expecting to get quite a bit tomorrow.

Thank you, Debra. Butterscotch has had his head or his tail in an awful lot of photos this year,. I have become so attached to him that he may join the inside cat group after being checked out and neutered at the vets. I will miss him dreadfully in the garden if I do that. We got an all day tropical rain yesterday. And more is coming tomorrow so they say.

Your Laura Harwood always looks so nice. A brownie point for it......Butterscotch is such a cute name for that type of orange on a cat. He looks very contented lying there in the garden..............No rain here for over a week in 100 plus temps. Dragging the hose around every cotton pickin' day is not a fun thing to do. Maybe we will get some relief tomorrow..............Maryl
